Thee Sashay Shantay is hosting a runway show featuring post apocalyptic survival looks in the tundra on January 28th.
Apart from the Shantay designers who will be showing a look each, we’re very excited to showcase the following designers at the Sparkle Beautiful show.
“Natural Response” is a collection of clothing that explores the natural world’s response to urban sprawl and pollution. The materials used are a combination of upholstery fabric, hunting gear and t-shirts.”
Sar D Steinman
“Sar D Steinman’s collection, “Old Wool” is inspired by the dichotomy between the raw beauty and functional history of natural materials and and formality of geometric designs and modern silhouettes. Many items were made from hand-dyed leather, wool and fur, and also incorporate hand knit details, felted wool quilt-work and leather applique.”
Deborah Block of CAMILLE FASHIONS “Camille Fashions is eco-friendly clothing and accessories because is it made out of used clothing and repurposed materials. Creating use for otherwise waste reduces our carbon footprint.”
Kristi Ternes of CANDY TOMBSTONE.
“I love to make costumes for specific people out of reassembled clothing.”
